Directly or indirectly, a few senior engineers contribute to different areas of a project, and those areas play a big role in the project or product’s success. What ultimately matters is who utilizes our product, and our thinking should be focused on the end user’s workflows and use cases.

Note: Not limited to senior engineers, very few juniors also have great capabilities and contributes in right areas of development.

Below are a few key considerations that smart engineers take into account when looking at the long-term success of a product.

Define project scope, goals, and objectives.
Specific actions: Identify project requirements, develop project schedules, and define project deliverables.

Divide the work into subtasks and assign them to team members.

Specific actions: Create a work breakdown plan, create a work schedule, and assign tasks to team members.

Establish clear communication channels with team members and stakeholders.
Specific actions: Schedule regular meetings, provide progress updates, and establish a feedback system.
